A Bit About Us

Crown barbers is synonymous with the modern man, specialising in cuts and styles, alongside traditional barbering.

The business is owned and run by James Abbs, who has shared a passion for barbering for many years, first around the age of 14 as a hobby and now, having trained in London, as a business in Cromer.
James first trained down in London and gained his certificate in barbering. Since then he has gone onto further training with a few well know barbers and academy's like Menspire, Dialacuts, Haiden Cassidy, Charlie Gray, just to name a few.
He always strives to give the best in customer service and make the customer feel relaxed, welcomed and then leave feeling the best they can.
His favourite styles to cut are Rockabilly, anything with volume and unique style. He has very high standards, attention to detail and wants to be the best he can be.
In his spare time, James' interests are spending time with family, dog training, motorbikes and cars.

Olly trained in Norwich after leaving school. He completed 3 years and has then continued his training in the shop. Olly loves conversation. He aims to give the best in customer service and wants you leaving his chair feeling great and looking even better. Olly is a fanastic barber and continues to improve and learn. In Olly's spare time, he enjoys to collect vinyl record, going to the gym and he loves classic rock music. 

Ant also trained in Norwich to level 2 and is now continuing to build his confidence, knowledge & skill in the shop at a discounted rate. He trained to level 2 at college but to continue his training at our shop with James and Olly. his strives to give great customer service and he wants to be the best barber he can be also! Seems we all want one thing to give you the best possible experience. In his spare time he enjoys to lake fish, go to the gym and spend times with friends and family.

Luke is our newest addition. he comes with 8 years of experience. he wangs to give you great customer service. his love for barbering is that everyone has a story to tell, doesn’t matter how young or old they are, everyone has something he feels he can relate to. There’s nothing better than being able to give some friendly advice when it’s needed and sometimes just an ear, is all that someone needs. In his spare time, he loves listening to all sorts of music, watch sport including basketball.
